Object oriented programming has a tendency to frighten... This course is trying to change the way you are looking at OOP. Through both some theory and lots of practical examples, we'll see in details how you can start incorporating OOP in your development without any pain starting with the most basic use.
From there, we'll see how using some more advanced techniques will allow you to open the door to some very powerful coding.
One important point to consider is that we'll do that through the study of a set of PRACTICAL classes, set that I use all the time in my own WinDev projects, and NOT as is traditional through some strange concept of circle/square/triangle or car/motorbike/truck. Everything that you'll study here will have DIRECT, PRACTICAL use in your everyday coding.
(2007, 2009, revised 2013)
To do that, this 2:23 hours long video course comes with an example project in WinDev 18 incorporating the following functionalities, as a set of classes ready to use:
- Project management
- DataBase management
- Parameters management
- Log/Trace management
- Error management
- Email management
- Form management. This class demonstrates the advanced possibilities of objects, with, as a result, the possibility to open at the same time as many forms on any file as you or your user may want, checks and controls, saving, and many other functions. This is directly the basis of your OWN RAD.
- On top of the classes, you'll also find a fully functioning wizard to let your user set up his options at the first startup and many more useful tricks.
