FAQ:

  • What is an 'off-stage' session?
It's an alternate session managed by me happening in a secondary room, while some course is being given in the main room by another presenter. Several previous attendees complained that there was no choice in the presentations they were offered, no alternative program. My off-stage presentations are here to solve that.

  • When will they happen?
Off-stage sessions will be possible any time I do not present on the main stage, ie Monday and Tuesday (whole days) and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

  • What will they cover?
The timing and subject of each off-stage session will be decided by YOU (ie the attendees) before the conference starts. You will have the choice between any of the courses I have previously presented (full list below), an original new course about "How to use your cellphone to remote control a WinDev or WebDev application" (more details below), or some free format “explore together” sessions

  • What is an 'explore together session'?
It's a session for which I do NOT have a prepared course. We just sit together in the secondary room and we all work on the subject you have chosen. It can be technical (by example, how to use bluetooth to connect to xxx) or a more theoretical discussion (by example, why and when use queries instead of hreadxxx...).

  • Who can decide on the sessions' subjects?
Only REGISTERED attendees will be able to vote for a course content and timing.

  • How will the vote work?
I will manage this vote on this page by regularly displaying the current choices.

  • Who can attend?
Of course, only people registered for the days of the presentation will be allowed to attend (ie if you select to register only for Wednesday through Friday, any off stage presentation done Monday and Tuesday will be off limit).

  • What will you get?
First, you'll get a course of your choice. On top of that, any material available for the course (like video course, sources, etc), will be available for free to the people physically present at the presentation (and only to them).

  • How many persons can attend?
I'm not sure exactly yet. Presentations will be done for as little as one attendee, but as they will occur in a secondary (ie smaller) room, there may be a MAXIMUM number of attendees. For that reason, and because I will need to PREPARE those presentations, advanced registration is mandatory.

  • How do I vote?
Easy: you check below for the current schedule, the votes, the available courses, and your email me at fabrice@fabriceharari.com to let me know what course you would want to follow when. You can vote for several course in several time slots. Only registered attendees votes will be taken into account. You can change your vote if you want to, and only your LAST vote will be taken into account.
For each vote, please give me the course reference and the session number. By example, if you want to follow the couse on "the art of debugging" on monday from 8 to 10, you can just tell me #WD3 Session 1. Your votes will be displayed (ie your name will be atached to each vote).

So come and join us, and register as soon as possible, so that you can vote on the off-stage presentation and get what YOU want.
